Monday, Sept. 7, 2015. 7 PM, Crowne Plaza Barcelona – Fira Center.
Dear Members of iSBCS,
As noted above the 8th annual meeting of our society, iSBCS, is coming up on the Monday evening of the ESCRS meeting in Barcelona, Spain. I sincerely hope that many members attend.
We have a lot of things to discuss, including the global progress of ISBCS over the 8 years of our existence, the spike in interest in ISBCS in the USA, The Rush Amarillo study, and proposed legislative change, and and the adoption of ISBCS with femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery in Quebec, Canada.
It is important that we keep the momentum going. Most countries have some significant financial and other disincentives to ISBCS, with Spain having been the first to adopt it formally.
The outline of the meeting agenda is below.
For anybody wishing to make a 8 minute presentation, please send the title to Steve Arshinoff at firstname.lastname@example.org . I encourage as many talks as possible, because progress will only be attained through discussion of issues. Please also confirm attendance to Steve, and copy Bjorn email@example.com and Charles firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to seeing you all there.
Steve Arshinoff MD FRCSC Co_President, iSBCS
